On March 16-19, at the Legion of Christ Novitiate and College of Humanities, 32 men came for the annual Men's National Regnum Christi Triduum. The retreat was preached by the Rector, Fr David Daly. It followed the Ignatius Spiritual Exercises methodology with a special emphasis on "commitment" to their state in life as single men, married men, and as fathers.
The weekend began with a reception and meal with the brothers. Thursday evening the men joined the brothers in their Holy Hour of adoration, a reflection given by a brother, and benediction. The men had time for prayer and reflection along with confession and spiritual guidance.
At the last conference, one of the men said, "This retreat put perspective back in my life and strengthened my faith so as to go back home and spread the message of the Gospel." Fr David Daly celebrated the closing mass in which one man joined Regnum Christi and several others made their renewal.
