Is
"Christian Rock" from the Devil? Fr. Andreas Kramarz, LC, presents this question that is older than many people know. In the early Christian centuries, pastors and theologians debated about how the faithful should deal with the widespread pagan musical practices. Similar debates took place in Athens in the fifth and fourth centuries B.C. This lecture will explore the attitude, which the Church Fathers take towards the use of music in the early Christian communities and how this has been reflected over time.
