May 7, 2017The last thing I would expect to find in a business card of a mining screen corporation is the words “create eternal value by striving to honor God.” Not only is this phrase printed on a Polydeck screen Corporation card, but it is listed as the goal for this business. This business card was Peter Freissle’s way of revolutionizing his company and since then he has gone out to share the secret of his success through His Way at Work.
His Way at Work is a group of business leaders who are seeking to transform their work environment based upon Christian values. Last weekend they held a series of conferences here at the College. They shared their enthusiasm and desire to love like Jesus in their companies and the brothers shared with them their way of life through some moments of prayer and conversation.
Transforming our environment based upon Christian values is definitely not an easy task. It is not easy for a business leader, or for a young religious, or for anybody. That is why we need to remember that , as Peter Freissle reminded the audience in one of his conferences, “we can only do this through prayer and God’s help.”
