Regnum Christi is a Catholic Movement or spiritual family that includes the Legionaries of Christ, consecrated men and women, lay people, diocesan priests, and permanent deacons. Currently, it numbers about 30,000 people worldwide.
Legionaries and the other members share the spirituality and working principles of Regnum Christi. As the Legionaries do, all Regnum Christi members seek to experience and transmit Christ's love, form apostles, and send them out to help build the Kingdom of Christ by evangelizing society.
Regnum Christi is a movement in which each member has decided to take seriously the missionary commandment that Christ gave to his followers: "Go, and make disciples of all nations" (Mt 28:19). The Legionaries of Christ and Regnum Christi members strive to bring the Gospel to all corners of the world, confident in Christ's support who said: “I am with you always, until the end of the age” (Mt 28:20).
Regnum Christi tries to foster in its members a spirit of initiative and a deep love for the Church. It aims to remind them of their baptismal duty to make the faith a key part of all their relationships — in their families, parishes, workplaces, social circles, and the public square.
