In Scripture, divine completeness, perfection, and wholeness are often expressed in the number seven. It is our hope and prayer that these seven steps will assist you on your journey.

  1. Intensify your prayer life, ask our mother Mary to help you, and spend an hour in adoration weekly
  2. Fast from dating
  3. Engage in apostolic outreach/service
  4. Participate in a discernment retreat
  5. Receive regular spiritual direction
  6. Spend time reading good books on the spiritual life
  7. Invoke the Holy Spirit in all decisions

A Test Your Call retreat is the opportunity to visit our novitiate and to share with other young men like yourself who are taking their first steps of formation and discernment. You’ll get to know the brothers, and experience with them their life of prayer, community, and formation. This includes Daily Mass, Rosary, Adoration, work, and sports, as well as a directed retreat and the opportunity to meet with a Legionary Vocation Director. This lived experience will speak in some real way to the heart of each man discerning.
